Master bath complete: I no longer worry I may fall through the floor

Who knew a bathroom would be my favorite room in our entire house?  After a SERIOUS overhaul, our master bathroom renovation is complete.  We hired a contractor for this job, because it was a big one, and because, we're tired!

Our contractor stripped the space down to the studs.  We expanded the footprint of the bathroom, extending it into the bedroom and incorporating the small hallway that originally led to the closet.  The new space is large enough to accommodate an enormous walk-in shower, claw foot bathtub, toilet, double vanity and two étagères for storage.  We now enter our closet through the bathroom, which I actually prefer.

For finishes, we chose a large scale 12"x24" marble tile for the floor with a black and Carrera marble mosaic in the shower floor and in front of the vanity.  The shower walls are clad in Carrera subway tiles.  I opted for Kohler polished chrome fixtures throughout.  For lighting, we used a combination of LED pot lights, a chandelier and sconce between the vanity mirrors.

It's the bathroom of our dreams!

Here's a look at the work-in-progress....
