It was another jam-packed weekend in the Crescent City, the highlights of which included a block party, crawfish boil, Bacchanal wine and even a late-night dance session at the gay club (I'm still recovering). The best part of my two days off however, may have been stepping inside my neighbors' whimsical, wonderful Lower Garden District home. Whitney and Jonathan frequently enjoy a glass of wine on the front porch and Joe and I often stop to chat with them en route to the dog park. However, this was the first time I actually ventured inside. Along with a clawfoot-bathtub-turned-loveseat project they're working on (more on that later!), Jonathan showed off their freshly installed Flavor Paper.
The New York based company was once headquartered in New Orleans with the help of an entrepreneurial start-up firm called Idea Village. They've since moved on to bigger and better in the Big Apple and boy oh boy are they flourishing. I've seen the company featured more than once on HGTV and in publications ranging from the New York Times to Elle Decor. Be prepared to pony up the dough, but once you take a look at their incredible designs, you won't be disappointed!
