It's amazing where we find inspiration. This week my mom, Ceil visited me from California and we spent a blissful weekend taking in jazz, blues and plenty of vino in New Orleans! To top off the trip, I brought my mother to work one day at WGNO News. She played intern while I reported on all the new offspring at an incredible wildlife sanctuary called the Global Wildlife Center. From the tone-on-tone colors of the rhea's feathers to the graphic print of the giraffe to the bold contrast of the zebra, there was inspiration everywhere we looked.
I've always loved incorporating animal prints into my rooms and it can be done in a subtle, classic manner, while still having a little fun. Below you'll see me getting friendly with a curious zebra and hungry giraffe, along with a few beautiful rooms for inspiration to incorporate a little wildlife into your decor.
